OCFF Conference 2005 - Kingston, Ontario

I wish I could remember everyone's names, but you'll recognize Brian Blain, Tannis Slimmon, Ken Whiteley & his son Ben, Eve Goldberg, Sean Sage, Suzie Vinnick, Mosaic, Mo' Kauffey... plus others who didn't make the pictures, like Jay Linden, who performed the song he accidentally wrote that night...

The Hen Party

Had an impromptu gathering with a few girlfriends last night. Potluck makes for great food, great conversation, hearty laughter and a great memory. L to R: Roxy, Lucy, Jeannie, Me, Catherine, Tiffany and Mo.

Last night was Brian Blain's CD release party at the Silver Dollar Room in Toronto. The core band, as pictured L to R, was Rod Phillips, Michelle Josef and Victor Bateman. I won a door prize! A copy of Brian's CD (I already had one because I'm on it!) and a pair of socks. Brian asked me up to sing background vocals. By then, Pat Carey and John Dickie were up there. It was a fun night. Too bad I got a parking ticket for staying past midnight.
